My name is Sandro Mancini, italian from Rome and living in Venice area, north of Italy. I'm 44 years old.
High school art, and architecture course at university (unfinished)
My first approach with the world of stopmotion was when, many years ago, i saw the fire brigade in a Trumpton show in television.
In 1997 I started to work in a TV series in paper muppets (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0329901/) in a companies just founded.
I was especially set designer and floor manager. at the same time cell animator in another company.
Then,in 2002, the first film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442289/.
Then the companies failed. So, in subsequent years, I have taken to cultivate my other passion: the engines.
In 2007 I worked as an assistant set designer, set builder, floor manager (and builded model of some characters like dogs and dinosaurs) in the TV series

I leaved that companies to study as stop motion animator.
