I want to be a teacher of English but I love making claymation in my free time. I've spent many years studying languages, but everything I know about clay and claymation I've learned by myself

m_) +Found it. This is 18 gauge Aluminum Hobby Wire.
Calibre 18 - 50 pies. They are the softest.

I had already seen the video. Thank you very much anyway.

m_) It is true that there are all kinds of wire, some harder than others. The one you want is Alumminum Wire, since aluminum is softer and you need to make sure is thin as well. I can't remember exactly the gauge

m_) something like this ..

Some are even called "armature aluminum wire" so you can be sure that's the one you need. Now, the challenge "twisting' the wire may difficult yet a drill can do that for you, among with a clamp holding one end.

Another problem sometimes is joining things. EPOXY PUTTY on every joint would help you to get everything. It takes more than one armature to create an armature. The first one will never be the best.

It is alright if you feel okay only with clay. Do what you suits you best. These are just suggestions.

Take care.

m_) Hey Xiakeira, did you ever see this video? Not sure if I have
shared it with you already, but I think is a good tutorial to show you
how to construct a basic wire skeleton for your puppet.

m_) That is my gift for christmas. Maybe for 2010 you may wish to challenge yourself using wire in your puppets, who knows!
