"Earthworms" ’ blog is finally launched ( www.earthwormsthemovie.com ), the stop-motion featured film from the studios of ANIMAKING. Made for all ages, with focus primarily on the children’s audience, tells the story of Junior, an 11 year old boy-worm who is becoming a pre-teen and lives through a true adventure with his friends. Inspired by the homonymous short featured film, winner of the 2006 Anima Mundi Infant Jury in both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and 2007 JVC Tokyo Video Festival winner of excellence, the movie is a Brazilian pioneer in stop-motion as a long featured film. Now people from all over the world can see the cast of " Earthworms " by going to www.earthwormsthemovie.com ; the production has already started shooting and it is expected to be ready for the big screen at the beginning of 2010. ANIMAKING is today the largest Brazilian studio in stop-motion animation. It’s located in the city of Florianopolis in the state of Santa Catarina.
