Some of you may know that my day job is as a Painting Contractor and I work with my Dad and have done so for years now. I have decided that it would be pretty cool to have a Sculpted character on the side of our vans as well as my truck and business cards. After a few different ideas I have come up with this 3-D character of my own design. I originally made his head 3-D and was going to do the body in a 2-D Clay-On-Glass style but I abandoned that early on. It looked a little raspy and it didn't fit with the head I had made at all. I am much happier with the 3-D version.
He is made entirely from Super Sculpey Firm and is just waiting to be painted. He will be holding a paint can in his right "fist" hand. I will add a real paint can in photo-shop. He was originally supposed to be holding a roller like the reference image of my Dad but he later didn't like the idea.
