Hey everyone, what do you think about short excersizes in animation? What I'm talking about are making single shots for fun. So for example, a topic is picked like....

A frog opens a box

Then everyone animates a frog opening a box, but there are no rules as to how or what can happen.

I think it would be fun, especially since the shots won't take a lot of time. What does everyone think?

Where animators animate different tests with their puppet. Like do a 'work your walk' or 'slip-trip'. I think that the idea is great and will work here too. I like the idea of having more flexible challenges like a 'frog opens a box' because its funner and as you said 'anything can happen'. I love the idea, and I say get it started!!

Hi Nofby, yeah I know about the stopmoshorts animations. I have one of my walk animations as part of one excersize in there. It's neat, but here I'd like less rules on what you can do.

Ok how about we start today and by next Sunday we'll work on another. I may do something too. It's fathers day today so I don't think my friends will be coming over, so most likely I'll be free to do something short and fun.
