Tulk
Posted On 05/09/2008 21:02:53 by idragosani
As I said before, the basis for my animation short will be inspired by Czech polka music... I may even adapt some of Smettana's music of that genre for this (he was a Czech composer). Oddly enough, the orchestral workstation plugin I use to write and record with is a rich collection of instrument samples recorded in, of call places, the Dvorak Hall in Prague! The title of the film will be Tulk -- the name of the main character. And if anyone can catch the reference between the music and the title... Read More

Hi guys, I am back and I have some bad and good news.  Lets start with the bad... The tutorial is held back for a while since I have been really busy with school, and its driving me crazy, but summer is coming along, so tutorials will hopefully be uploaded and more published within the 3 months holiday.  Also, I am still in progress for the DVD "How To Create Clay Animations For Beginners."  So please be patient with me!  Good news... CATP (Clay Animation Tutorial Productions... Read More

Here's a picture of Monsieur Fleur:My character will be a bit darker and not quite as richly dressed, of course. I am going for a Eastern European feel, too... so this is leading me to musical themes, and I will likely do a polka for the main character theme (kind of fits in with the "Czech School" of animation, too). Now I need to find an acc... About Time!

It's great to see a website like this bring the stop motion community closer. So who the hell am I to make such a statement? I'm still relatively new to the community myself, but I hope to actually start filming something soon. I'm going insane without a camera in my hands! I have a website for my slightly-established-in-my-min d production company, Wonder. You can go there: CLICK! Although I haven't updated in a while.I've had this project on my mind (and a few notebooks) called Reverie. You c... Read More
