Current Project Updated
Posted On 07/10/2008 17:30:34 by AnimatorTony
Right, I have come up with a new idea. It will have some areas of live action. A child will go to sleep and when she turns the light off, the time on the clock will speed up and when it gets to 12, A light from her toy draw breaks the darkness. Inside, the contents come alive as a troll creeps out of the draw in silence, quickly scavenging for the child's toys. He takes different parts of toys and forms a horrible creature that the child finds in the morning. The ending will be when it happens t... Read More

Wire Removal Article
Posted On 06/17/2008 19:07:12 by kramerklaymation
On my blog over at http://www.kramerklaymation.blogspot.com I created another article similar to my greenscreen ones if you saw those. This time it talks about wire removal however. In it I give a few links and talk a little bit about it. There is also a video tutorial there you can follow to remove wire from your animations using Blender 3D, a free program. Hopefully the video isn't too hard to follow.
You can see what I made using the process here:

It starts with a cat
Posted On 06/04/2008 15:00:55 by astigma
Although many projects are on my plate my main focus will be on my first animated short, "Cat vs. String". I posted a teaser trailer of sorts a little bit ago, which was very simplistic in part because I made it at the library. This short will introduce the world to a cat named Burton. He lives a comfortable life in a cozy apartment with his caring owner Steven. Having said that, Steven will be an unseen presence for this short although we may see him in future productions. Before I go I'd... Read More
