Good, I'll be working on it to make the most exciting puppet struggle ever.

Hi!

I'm new here, but I've browsed the site and forum a few times, and I love the challenges!

I'm just starting making stop motion (wasted a LOT of time trying different armatures and making short tests of them to see if they're good enough), but I'll try to be on every challenge from now on.

I made a short animation last year that somehow fits in this challenge... a fly's struggle for survival! (well, I guess it struggled for some milliseconds in the snake's mouth )

Anyway, I'll try to make a new one specifically for this challenge, just for fun

Yes, very well done although short but quite smooth, keep it up! --I feel terrible for that little fly.. and I agree that he was struggling for SURVIVAL!

Now by puppet struggles do you mean, their struggles? Or, do you mean the animators struggles?

I was mostly looking for the puppet struggles in trying to do something. But I am really looking for an animator that really wishes to animate, and really has a drive to work in this medium, but is held back by their lack of a decent puppet.

Animator 'struggles' LOL, I could make series with tons of seasons in a mini TV show kind of way if we were given that case!

You just summarized my life right there, man. Some of it.

Hey guys!!!

My 1st time posting in here. My entry details both puppet struggles AND animator struggles (mostly with that background light that kept sagging down the wall!):

YouTube really played havoc with my carefully controlled contrast and light levels. But I had a blast making this clip...

Oh well, here is my humble latest-but-not-the-least walk cycle and officially the video I am submiting  for this competition.

ahrg.. really wanting a good sophisticated puppet!

I have nothing to say, I just hope wins the best.
