I cant seem to figure out how to capture with this camera...as soon as i usb port it....it goes into a locked connection with the computer...i cant seem to figure out how to get it to shoot from cam to directory. Othere than this all i have right now are 3 so-so web cams im using...please help if there is an answer

I have the sony s60, the lower model of that, so you're in luck. I don't believe that you can shoot images while connected to the computer, one bad thing about sonys, but I may be wrong. What I did was just take still pics on the camera and then uploaded them onto the computer and put them together that way. If you need to have more space on your memory card, just shoot in a lower resolution. You don't need a high resolution unless your aiming to shoot for more professional stuff. It will save space on your computer too(I wish I had lower when I was still using that camera).

I own a cannon 40D a still camera the shoots for long duration and at 10megapixl.  I go to my computer via usb and use my computer as the interface.  so I don't need to touch the camera.  I shoot large jpeg its good to shoot that instead of raw because raw is just way to big but with largh I still have enough to mess around with in post.  these are just some things iv come across while shootig
