another test i did, I wanted to remove the wire but didn't have a mind for it eventually. he moves really weird here, not very well... it's funny though
I also agree about anticapting the jump. A good idea is to do the jump yourself or watch someone else jump so that you can see how the body moves. Also, the walk could use some work. But I think that it is a great idea that you are using an armature first to do these tests with. Some people build the puppet first and then do the tests and find that they need to make a new puppet.
yhea I know, I did that before I started really reading about the technical stuff :P
more than that, the armature i used here was made from a different wire than I used for the other ones, it was a lot thiner and acted really springy, espacially once one of the legs were up. it fell quite a lot 2, and I lost track of the movment... that's why he's making this weurd dance thing '^^.
in the future I should prepare a shot before hand and probably use some kind of gage or a subtitute for one.
Looks good but it look like flying instead of jumping. If I could may a suggestion...try to have him anticipate the jump. 3 words I live by are: anticipation, action, reaction. I liked the countdown with your fingers...nice touch
